How to Supplement Yoga Teacher Training
There are a lot of different motivations that people might give for why they attend yoga teacher training in some way, shape or form. Some would say that their main goal is to start a career in the field, but it is far more likely that they would cite weight loss as the most important thing that they are striving towards at any given point in time. If you count yourself among the latter category, suffice it to say that you need to supplement your yoga teacher training with a few other forms of exercise.
A big part of the reason why that is the case has to do with the fact that yoga training is not going to be enough to allow you to lose an appreciable quantity of weight in and of itself. You can go to Marianne Wells Yoga School for eight hours a day and you still wouldn’t lose the kind of weight that you wanted, although chances are that your weight loss would be more pronounced than it would have been had you not done anything at all.
One thing that you can do to supplement your daily yoga routine is to go out for a run. You can do this right after the yoga class too since yoga is the best warm up process for running that we can currently think of. Good yoga teachers will always recommend that you do a bit of running to spice things up, and if you work hard you can eventually become fit enough to run upwards of three miles in the span of just half an hour and that will prove that you are as strong as can be.
